The 21th annual Perth Poetry Festival, organized by WA Poets Inc., features invited national and local poets and offers ample opportunities for public participation in a diverse program of free and low-cost events. Professional development is also supported through workshops, seminars, panels, and networking opportunities.
Augmenting this year’s programme, the City of Perth Urban Screens are exhibiting work from over 120 Western Australian Poets who have contributed to the 2025 Poetry Screenings, creating a linguistic slow TV programme from the heart of the Western Australian poetry community.
The programme is exhibited throughout August.
