David Carson

Exploring the materiality of video, Carson’s videos splice time into abstract moving landscapes. In his durational video works, footage is compressed and manipulated to create liminal spaces in time.

David Carson is a multi-disciplinary artist and teacher based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Since moving to Australia from the UK in 1995, Carson has taught art and design in various art school, whilst developing a unique art practice concentrating on new imaging technologies and art/science collaborations.
