Works by Johana Kroft nightly from the City of Perth Northbridge Piazza Superscreen in the Fringeworld exhibition LIGHTBOX24.
Johana Kroft is an artist originally from the Czech Republic, now residing in Brooklyn, New York. She has travelled extensively, having lived in London, Berlin, and France before finding her perfect spot to stay and create in New York City. Johana has a passion for weird objects and colours.
She began her career as a Designer ten years ago, but over the years, she developed a love for 3D and began to create simple compositions. Since then, she has been continuously crafting more complex works. Thanks to social media, an increasing number of people have discovered her work, leading to incredible opportunities.
Johana enjoys combining different shapes and surreal spaces into a single frame to tell a story. She has recently started to incorporate AI software into her creative process for inspiration.
Lightbox features pop, contemporary, new media, and illustrative works. This, the tenth annual Lightbox show, is curated for screening as part of Fringeworld24. Further information and the full screening schedule can be found at lightbox20.net.
