The Huxleys | AUS
Direct from the eastern shores via FAC, The Huxleys grace the city screens with their trademark laconic queer flair.
Known for their riotous and glamorous live performances, Lightbox 25 delves into three photographic collections: Places of Worship, Disgraceland, and Genderfluid.
The Huxleys photography traverses the classifications of costume, film, and recording. A visual assault of sparkle, surrealism, and the absurd, The Huxleys saturate their practice and projects with a glamorous, androgynous freedom that brings escapism and magic to everyday life.
Instantly accessible, The Huxleys create a visual style uniquely recognisable as their own. Within this distinctive style, one cannot help but also find the warm, inclusive heart that is The Huxleys.
Photographic works from The Huxleys screen nightly during Fringe World 2025.
